EDITING STATEMENT
I started editing at age 16 during an internship at a post house. Since then, I've had several years of editing experience using Final Cut Pro that includes hotmixes, music videos, indie narratives, industrials, docs, and experimental video art. One of my recent editing credits is the 2008 MTVN Upfront Opening tape. I was recently an adjunct professor of video at Queens College (CUNY) where I taught Final Cut and After Effects. My background as a musician greatly informs my editing style, as well as my sense of humor and organizational skills that border on anal-retentive. I'm definitely a product of an A.D.D. post-MTV world (no pun intended), and my frenetic, quick cuts and rhythmic punch lines reflect this. I easily adapt, however, to whatever style and mood the material calls for. Please watch my editing reel (below) for a limited selection of some of my work.

PACKAGE/ SKILLS
My editing package includes an Apple Powerbook G4, Final Cut Pro, After Effects CS3, and Pro Tools LE. I have a background in visual art (drawing and painting), am skilled in motion graphics (After Effects), film animation (including stop animation, pixilation, rotoscoping, and experimental techniques).

I've done a large amount of computer music, sound engineering, and film scoring; I have midi capabilities, Mbox 2 for voiceover/ foley, etc, and a slew of other computer music/digital audio programs and plug-ins.
